Hi, I’m Ree, the person behind Filtered Water Wise. I started this site because choosing a water filter is surprisingly confusing. There are hundreds of models, a lot of marketing claims, and certifications that are hard to make sense of.
My goal is simple: plain-English guides that help you pick the right filter for your home and your water, whether that’s a jug, a tap filter, an under-sink system or a whole-house setup.
How I put these guides together
I don’t run a testing lab, and I don’t test every product hands-on. Instead, I research each filter using manufacturer specifications, independent certification listings (such as NSF/ANSI and WQA), and common themes in verified buyer feedback, then summarise what matters in my own words. Some articles were drafted with the help of AI writing tools. I’m now reviewing and rewriting the older ones; rewritten reviews show a “Last checked” date and a Sources list.
